Spring Tassel Garland

Spring is Among us and I love this time of year because it means Easter is on its way and it's one of my favourite holidays. I love the Autumn time, but Spring has this beautiful vibe full of bright and floral feeling's

as always I'm contantly adding new idea's to my Easter Decorations, specially now I have a new place to myself to do as I please. and I've seen these go around on Pinterest which inspired me. Such a cheap but effective idea to decorate your home in any country. 

Supplies you will need

Tape

Spring

Paper tissue 

Floral wire

Scissors

These were all Purchased from Poundland which have a great collection for Easter!

Then all you do is take a piece of your tissue paper and fold it in half and cut strips, but leave the fold un cut so there seamed together. 

After you have done that, you take your tissue paper and roll at the top so they become gathered.

Cut your floral wire to it fits both side, and tape them on both sides so it creates a loop at the top. Then you want to threat it through the string and tighten the floral wire in the space you want it to hold on your Garland.

And there you have your beautiful Spring Garland ready to display. 

13th March was my youngest sisters Birthday and she came down to London to visit me. as she lives so far from me we rarely see one another. so it was really nice to catch up and be able to spend her Birthday together. We ended up going to Legoland which was her first time ever going there. It was such a nice day, sun was shining and we had so much fun as a family. The park was empty as it was the first day open which made the day better cause we were able to get on many more rides.

DIY Easter Bird Nests

Easter is coming up. and It's one of my favourite holiday's after Halloween. so I'm really excited to start prepping and getting the house light and cute for Spring. Today I'm going to show you the very easy simple Project that look great on a display table. there very modern and look great in the house. 

Here's what you will need

I went to my local Hobby craft which is amazing how much great stuff you can find there.
and i found these cute little wickery birds nest there only cost  me 50p bargin!
I also picked up some Flat natural Moss and these white spotted egg shells. cost all together £3.50

here's a little close up so you can see inside. All you need to do is Glue them into the birds nest with a hot glue gun and you have this beautiful modern centre piece .

Plant shopping

As you know, I've moved into a new Apartment nr London. and I love it. This is the first type buying and decorating my own place so you can see the inspiration is pouring out of me. finally some creative freedom. tho I'm not aloud to paint the wall's neither hang anything (which i have. and will do a tutorial on in the nr future) I'm finding, using bright bold feature décor really do make it more home and bring out the personality. 

I've always love Plant's and Geometric style things in my life. and i feel plants bring so much energy and shape to the room's. not only that makes me feel responsible for something to take care of. I don't think you can be sad when your surrounded by Beautiful Plants. they have so much positive energy. 

As Artificial as these are. I've always loved the idea of Artificial Flowers in the home. There very welcoming and obviously last forever. and easy to change colors around during Holiday Season or general color scheme

I got this Amazing Cactus, which I've wanted for a while. the shapes are beautiful and although shape, very interesting. I'm going for a very Aztec/ native American style theme for my Apartment as i LOVE native Indian thing's. and what say that more then a Cactus. 

I will be buying more plants soon. right now I'm really putting the place together so I can judge where thing's will  be and how they will look. And yes a Apartment tour will be coming up soon, just want it to be perfect un till i reveal my whole place. patience is key.

RedVelvet Cake

 What you will need to make the Betty Red Velvet mix is
3 medium eggs
65ml vegetable oil
205ml water
and of course your cake mix

Add all the ingrediants to you cake mix in a large Mixing bowl and wisk untill smooth and silk like. I made my first batch a little thick as shown on the picture, but it should be runny and soft. so keep mixing, as soon as your done with the mix, get a cake tin and add the mix. you will need 2 cake tins for top and bottom and don't forget to grease them before you add your mix in                                                                                  

Put in the oven for 34mins on 140c in centre of the oven

Now for the fun part. Grab your Cream Cheese and add to your cake how ever you like. I've coated mine all the way around for extra sweetness. 

and there you have it, Your tasty Red Velvet cake.....

Thing's I want (Apartment Edition)

I'm really into Native American/Tribal things right now, a long side Geometrics so I want to combine the two into my Apartment, that way it remains unisex for my Husband as I dont want to make the place look to feminine because it wouldn't be fair. And lucky for me he likes that stuff too,and trusts my interior skill's. and yes found a new love for having a Rocking Chair in my bedroom .
